Mountain biking in Kirchleitn
Summit splendour for cool bikers and fast fullys
Mountain bikers have it good here: we are right in the middle of the NOCKBIKE Region. 1,000km of cycling and mountain biking trails, more than 40 professionally planned tours with maps and GPS data to download, trails, forest paths, descents through pastures... but that’s not all: here in the Nock Mountains, you can really stay on the saddle all the way to the summit cross. The gentle shape of our mountains makes it possible. And there is nothing more beautiful than simply rolling downhill and diving head-first into a refreshing Carinthian lake.
In Kirchleitn beginners and advanced riders can really become one with their bikes thanks to our mountain bike technique training on our own training course, family biking or one of our various guided mountain bike tours for various levels of difficulty; for example, a themed tour “from the mountains to the lake” or our famous downhill tour with Jeep transfer. Any biker’s heart will surely do a wheelie with these great offers. Kids can ride their bikes in the village with our lawns and small hills whilst you enjoy your lounge chair.
The absolute highlight, however, is our Ladies Bike Tour with owner Margit – whilst your kids are being well taken care of, you can ride to the best lookout points, take on pleasant forest trails or visit a regional cheese dairy (complete with tasting!). Or take a panorama sunrise tour with Wolfgang – this redefines the idea of an insider’s tip! Both Margit and Wolfgang are certified mountain bike guides. Plus, Kirchleitn mountain bikers can look forward to bike tours six days a week – you should rest on the seventh! – a bike garage, wash area, repair service, and special tips for all bikers who have their own preferences for their holidays – just like you, right?
We Mountain Bike Holidays – Kirchleitn has been certified “elite” by Mountain Bike Holidays! Only real pros are accepted into Mountain Bike Holidays. This is a group of specially chosen and carefully audited establishments and holiday regions. A few bikes for hire are not nearly enough to be called elite! The yearly TÜV Austria certified audit is a must – and it isn’t without reason that since 1996, Mountain Bike Holidays has been in a class of its own in the European market!
