THE INVIGORATING ELEMENTS OF THE ALP HAVE A HEALING EFFECT ON THE ORGANISM. WE ARE LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BIOSPHERE PARK NOCKBERGE AT AN ALTITUDE OF ALMOST 1400 METRES.

For us, wellness means honest tranquility in a hay bath, enjoying the high-altitude sun in a flower meadow or an infusion with fresh herbs from the surrounding meadows and mountain spring water.

Make a splash in our natural swimming pond

One of our main attractions is the biotope, a natural, unheated swimming pond with aquatic plants.


The pond is fed with mountain spring water and requires no chemicals or artificial additives whatsoever. A filter system and aquatic plants are sufficient for cleaning and purifying its waters, and a swim in the pond is an experience that any nature enthusiast is sure to appreciate.

Our natural swimming pond is located in Unterkirchleitn, next to the sauna area and the sunbathing lawn, with amazing views of the surrounding mountain meadows. The pond consists of three areas:

  • Around the springhead, the water is just 20 cm deep, perfect for the youngest water bugs among our guests.
  • A water depth from 20 to 40 cm offers young adventurers plenty of opportunity for exploring.
  • Sauna and nature enthusiasts can cool down and relax in the swimming pond with a size of 15 x 5 m and a water depth that ranges from 0.50 cm to 1.60 m.

The wooden board next to the springhead harbours a surprise:  When stepping on the board, the shower mechanism located underneath is activated. A wonderful way to cool down after a sauna or on a hot day!

Oberkirchleitn:

The pre-heated sauna area in Oberkirchleitn is a wonderful refuge especially for adults.


2 Finnish saunas that accommodate eight or even up to 20 guests, an outdoor waterfall shower and the generously dimensioned quiet area make relaxation and regeneration come easy.
